In these pics of Battlefield 1942 with Forgotten Hope mod running, the straight lines in the first pic or the straight area in the second. This occurred when using a geforce 5700VE

I'm currently using nvidia forceware 93.71 drivers. I recently installed these drivers after uninstalling the previous drivers. The performance, after switching back to a geforce 5700VE, dropped for a moment when I had the previous drivers.

Had a similar problem with a game, dropping back to one of the 8x.xx drivers might help

I had the same problems in BattleField 2. If you have just gotten a new graphics card, or have had a new card since these problems started, try going to your mother board manufacturer's website, and updating/flashing your BIOS. It worked for me.

looked like it worked.... so far.... for Battlefield 1942 I'll still try to check the maps that showed these to see if the BIOS updating worked.
