Hi guys I have a problem and would be grateful if anyone can help?

I recently reformatted my HDD and reinstalled Windows XP. I made all the necessary measures to ensure I had all the drivers but a problem has arose concerning the performance of graphics.

When scrolling down in a web browser or dragging a program around my desktop there is a significant delay rather than a smooth transition thats usually expected.

I have an ATI radeon xt800, so I downloaded the latest Catalyst driver bundle. Whenever I try to install it, an error message pops up stating 'Severe INFerror - Video driver not found'. I had a gander in device manager and noticed a yellow question mark next to Video Controller (VGA Compatible) in other devices. Anyone suggest any measures to fix this?

Thanks Alex
