I've been trying to install opensuse 10.1 on my system which currently runs winxp. Every time I start the installation process, my monitor goes black and gives me an incorrect resolution error, and asks for 1280 x 1024 at 60hz. I used the resolution option on the installer to change the resolution to the above, but I still recieve the same error. I'm afraid that if I use text mode to install, upon completion it will just give me the same error when it loads the UI. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
