go to http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ , and download 'Hijack This!'.
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log somewhere, and please copy & paste its contents to the forum.

It will possibly show issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

First thing you need to do is download RapidBlasterKiller from this link.

Then goto add/remove programs and remove new.net.

then reboot & download AdAware 6 181
Before you scan with AdAware, check for updates of the reference file by using the "webupdate".
Then,
make sure the following settings are made and on -------"ON=GREEN"
From main window :Click "Start" then " Activate in-depth scan"

Then, click "Use custom scanning options>Customize" and have these options on: "Scan within archives" ,"Scan active processes","Scan registry", "Deep scan registry" ,"Scan my IE Favorites for banned URL" and "Scan my host-files"

Then, go to settings(the gear on top of AdAware)>Tweak>Scanning engine and tick "Unload recognized processes during scanning" ...........then........"Cleaning engine" and tick "Automaticly try to unregister objects prior to deletion" and "Let windows remove files in use at next reboot"

Then, click "proceed" to save your settings. Now to scan it´s just to click the "Scan" button.

When scan is finished, mark everything for removal and get rid of it.

Then, download Spybot - Search & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de

After installing, first press Online, and search for, put a check mark at, and install all updates.
Next, close all Internet Explorer and OE windows, hit 'Check for Problems', and have SpyBot remove all it finds that is marked in RED.

then post a new hijackthis log to check what is left

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

Since you already have AdAware, just make sure you have all latest updates downloaded, and do a full scan. Then restart and do a full scan with Spybot S&D.

Once you've done that post a new HJT log.

[edit] nearly forgot, the 181 means the build of AdAware.

I did a scan of adaware and it found 481 bad items?
I quarentined them for now. I did not have time to do the rest.
Is this ok ? I new at this but it seems to have really helped so far.
I will check back later. Thanks so much.

Good work so far Allwrappedup. (y)
I'm aware of how much time it may take to set up all these new programs and ensuring they are configured correctly. It's well worth it though in the long run though because once you've secured your pc properly once, then you just need to run a full scan with each once a week and your pc will run much more smoothly.

Regarding the AdAware scan; If you check the item details for most of the entries in the AdAware results, you will most likely find most of them to be tracking cookies. These can all be removed yourself no problems. AdAware does have a feature where it can spot a 'possible virus'. If this is the case then you can ask the experts over at Lavasoft's support forum whether they are safe to remove.

Once you've installed and correctly configured Spybot Search & Destroyand you've done a full scan, then remove all the red entries. Once you've done all this then do another HijackThis scan and post the log here. It should be a lot cleaner.

Keep up the good work!

:D

I'm just going to check your HJT log for you now. Is it possible at all for you to capture a screen shot of this Green box and shadow and attach it to your next post?

First thing I notice in processes is:
C:\WINDOWS\svchost.exe

svchost.exe Added as a result of the MORB VIRUS!. This is not the valid svchost.exe as described here. Located in the Windows directory, and not in Windows/System(32)

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these. Close all browser windows and "Fix checked"
