Whenever I start up the computer (Windows ME), I get a message saying "GStarup.lnk refers to a location, etc." and Microsoft Word opens up on its own. I have run Ad Aware but it didn't help. It's been going on ever since I dumped Kazaa.
    Can anyone help? It's annoying!!!
    Thanks

Do you mean GStartup? If you do its Gator spyware. See if you have a GMT.exe on your pc and delete it if you do

Sorry, I meant GStartup. I looked for GMT.exe but don't seem to have it. I figured it was a Gator problem since Kazaa is infamous for that. I still don't know what to do...any other ideas?
    Thanks

Apart from deleting any gator references you can find manually - install and run spybot(see google for download station - theres lots) Good luck
