Guys I need help deciding

    Neither you couldn't give me a Celeron or Sempron (low cache cpu) in a laptop for free.
    you can get away with those cpu's in a desktop but in a laptop they kill any idea of multi tasking.

    Im trying to keep it under $799 CAD. That would be about $850-900CAD, plus they dont offer that in Canada. Looks good though. So a celeron is very bad in a laptop? Like would this be able to run photoshop and itunes at the same time? That would probably be the most intensive use for it.

    Im liking that laptop, unfortunately I don't have a credit card :(. Ill see if I can find a retailer. I have heard good things about lenovo.

    eMachine makes a decent laptop for your school needs..
    This ones $240 less now then when it came out..

    do your homework on a laptop. some of the lower cost units would be junk probably and a laptop is something not to go the cheapest on as they are not as user friendly to repair.

    If I had a choice i would go with a HP laptop but I am sure others have differing opinions
