    Hello all

I need some questions answered. Recently there's been someone who has been sending me threatening text messages using www.sendafreesms.com. I couldn't figure out who it was. But then i noticed that at the end of the messages, there was a number attached, it turns out it was an ip address of the computer used. I send myself a text message from the website, and sure enough, it send me my ip address

I suspected it was this girl and I checked her ip address through the emails she had sent me. And it matched EXACTLY. I confronted her and send her a warning to stop. She denied she had anything to do with and she sent me the following explanation for why the ip addresses might've matched hers.

" For what it is worth on Thursday I discovered that my computer was logged into another email address via google (*******@hotmail.com) - an address I've never come across before and it disturbed me, especially in light of ****. My husband said that my comptuer must have been hacked and nothing has been done to resolve my computer since then as we're waiting for a hard drive to back up all my files before wiping the computer. You can ask my husband and people i nothe organisations I work with as I mentioned this to them on Thursday since all the passwords for everything were saved on my compute"

    -I've censored any personal information.

    Does her explanation make sense?
There is many other things that she's said in the text messages/emails that I know its her. And I've really started a ruckus with this...but now I just want to be 100% that it is her...

    Thank you:confused:

Does it make sense that her "computer was logged onto another address via google.."

    No. That doesn't make sense.

If you have her IP address on emails, AND you have her IP address on threatening SMS messages, then you have her. Period.
