    Hey all,
I am seriously considering building a Hackintosh for some video editing - this link gives a pretty good idea of what it is: http://nofilmschool.com/build-a-hackintosh/ (first page).

If anyone has experience with a Hackintosh, whether building, fixing, or whatever, I'd love your advice.
My main reason for building one is: I don't want to spend $2,500+ for a "Tower of Power" but I want a machine that'll be just as good, for a bit less. Second, I want to dual-boot Windows 7 without using a third party software. Third, I would like to have Apple's OS X for my Adobe products (PS, PPro, AE), and not Windows.

So, now that that's out of the way, as I am starting to do some heavy research for this, I'm wondering . . . is it worth it? Does a Mac really have a BIG overall advantage over Windows in graphic design, video editing, etc.?

    Thanks guys,
    Gabriel
