Once a day, for the last three days, Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition has found that virus in my personal temp file folder. I have run a scan with Symantec, and AVG, as well as several Spyware programs and they always find nothing.

Symantec is able to quarantine the file, but i want to know why it keeps reappearing.

    Running Windows XP SP2.

Does anyone see anything wrong here? My hijackthis.log follows. Thank you

Once again (and everyday once) Symantec AV reported a tmp file as being infected with the Hacktool.Rootkit trojan.

I have examined the HijackThis.log myself, and can't find any suspicious, but i don't know that much about it.

    I have scanned with:

    Symantec AV
    AVG AV
    AVG SD
    Spybot
    and Rootkit revealer.

    Rootkit revealer found this:
    HKLM\Security\Policy\Secrets\SAC*
    HKLM\Security\Policy\Secrets\SAI*
    c:\windows\software distribution\datastore\logs\temp.edb

From my searches i think all of these are benign. Am i right?

Please i could use some help to stop this trojan if i have it.
