I've been getting way less spam lately at my yahoo address, I don't get much email at all for my hotmail although the spam usually goes to the junk folder, and my gmail i've gotten maybe two total since I got the account. The reason for those two(both went to the spam folder) is because a friend(one of the few who knows that address) sent me one of those 'send this to your friends!' video's. After I told him that the email was not only not working but would get me spam, he sent me the link manually.

I have not receved spam sence switching from web-mail (Hotmail-Netscape) to E-Mail (Comcast). My hotmail acount got tons of spam before I got rid of it, so much in fact that if I had left it alone for three days my inbox would fill up to its limit.

Netscape was just as bad. Every other day I would get a offer to try AOL. Almost as annoying as those disks that they send out in the mail.

Hardly anything gets through my Comcast Account, exept for a few offers here and there from websites I belong to.

When was the last time you checked the hotmail? I noticed that although I don't use it much, not one piece of spam has gotten through since maybe october, the rest has gone to that Junk Mail folder. I used to get maybe 10-30 a day.

I get at least 10 of those a day. It's not to bad since I receive around 500 emails a day. Probably twice that is filtered out by my spam catchers..

What irritates me is all the medical related spam.. Thing's like:
Viagra Cheap NOW!,, or email with deceptive headers that read: "remember that place I told you to get meds cheap?"..

Another thing is all the loan and mortage mail..

    And this crud:

    WINNING NOTIFICATION / FINAL
    NOTICE.CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

This is to inform you of the release of the E-MAIL
    LOTTERY BALLOT INTERNATIONAL/ WORLD GAMING
BOARD held on the 5TH of December, 2004.
Due to the mix up of numbers, the results were
released on the 22ND of December, 2004. Your e-mail
attached to ticket number 219028657434 with serial
number 918735625 drew the lucky numbers of
21-70-81-82-99 which consequently won the lottery
    in the 1st category.

    Yeah right...

And why all the phishing, I mean I've recieved phishing emails for banks all over the world.. How many bank acounts do phishers think people have.. "By the way, I don't need to update my paypal or ebay accounts, so quit asking me to click your misleading link!)"

Big-K, I dont use the hotmail anymore. The last time I checked it was about July of last year. I think by this time they would have closed the account due to inactivity.

I actually havn't recieved any real mail on my hotmail account for months. The only reason its still in existance is because of my use of MSN Messenger(I refuse to get a passport for my yahoo or gmail addresses, besides, most people on my list already are used to my hotmail one and would get annoyed if they had to get used to a new one).
