    Hey folks,

After some careful deliberation, I've noticed that whenever I play Half-Life 2 Deathmatch for a while....it crashes with the following message.

The exception privileged instruction (0x0000096) occured in the application at location 0x1f399804.

So my guess is that this is a registry problem? Need insight on how to fix.

    my specs

    AMD Sempron 2800+
    768 DDR SDRAM
    Windows XP Pro/w SP2
    80GB Caviar HD.....(10.9GBs free)

well thats a fairly low spec machine to be playing quite system demanding games!! and most HD's will complain at u if they are over 50% full if your gaming...so im guessing this is a multi funtion pc:) maybe worth gettin a storage HD to save work, media and other things so that your other HD will run nicely...

as for a reg cleaning program i suggest Ccleaner as it is free and allows you to make full back ups before fixing he issues
