hi, im totally new here, and im pretty desperate for advice at this point.

The other day i decided to try to save space on my computer, and i went to the Add/Remove Programs list, and got a little trigger happy and removed my ATI Display driver, or video driver?? im not exactly sure what this program is for, but everyone tells me its important. I've tried like hell to recover it, and download it. But i can never find it.

someone PLEASE tell me what i need to do, or just lead me in the right direction. i have xp btw. thanks :)

Go to http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html select your operating system (Windows XP Professional/Home), your graphics card (probably a Radeon), then the chip your card has (e.g. Radeon 9250). If you don't know what kind of Radeon you have, it might be written on the card itself.

You can run "Belarc Advisor" and find info about your system. It will display right on your screen, but it can be saved , too. Don't print more than the first 2-3 pages, however.
