Hi all, I just activated Sprint PCS service with my Handspring Treo 300 Palm/Phone. I heard you can download programs into this unit just like a regular Palm device. I would like to download Documents to Go and AOL Instant Messenger, but I was wondering which option would be better: download the program from the handspring website to my PC and hot synch it to the unit or download straight to the unit ???

The reason I'm asking is because I think the web surfing speed of the Treo is around 56K, but I have cable internet access with my PC. The files aren't that big (1-2 MB), but the downloads are charged on a pay per download basis.
