    Hi everyone,

I am running Windows XP. Lots of times when I shutdown and then turn on my computer, then I log in, the computer will show the desktop, but nothing will happen for a few minutes. I can ctrl, alt, delete and see the processor is only at 0-1% of usage and no programs are using the processor. It seems to me to be a network issue (comp trying to join wireless or something).

Is this common? Any ways to speed this up?
