Have you tried a System Restore?

It will undo any changes. It easiest to find System Restore using Windows Help.

Restoring your computer does not affect or change your personal data files.

Your problems could be due to one of several hundred things.

Each will have a different "fix", so its unlikely that anyone can be more specific. When you say the system restore was "no good" what do you mean?

Was there no system restore points, or what?

Is it only disc clean-up that doesn't work?

Remember you are the only one that can see whats going on, everyone else has to guess. The more detail you give the better.

We do not even know if you are using NT, 2000 or XP, and there are different paths to follow for each.
