I was scanning for virus this morning, and in middle of the scan, the computer suddenly had a BSOD of UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME. Even when I boot in safe mode, it still wouldn't boot. Yet worse, after a while, the computer wouldn't even boot up since if only has my CD-ROM in BIOS, and it'd only boot from the CD-ROM. Can somebody please help me?

Sounds like the hard drive may have failed. Can you hear it spin up, can you try reseating the data and power cables on it?
