I have just formatted a new Hard Disk on my MacBook Pro in the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format and copied data to it.the disk works perfectly on my Mac. When I plug it into my AirPort Extreme it shows up OK. I have another hard disk that is in the same format and works perfectly on AirPort Extreme. With the new disk when I try and open it from AirPort Extreme, I get the message on my Mac, "The operation can't be completed because the original item for "name of disk" can't be found". On my iPad using File Browser I get the message "Failed to list folder contents, folder not found".
I would appreciate any advice on what I need to do to see the disk. Thanks
