So today my hd died on me, I used it as a usb storage device on my ps4 to store games and it was very convenient.
When I plug it in, it makes a few realy quiet beeps and then proceeds to not work.
I didn't lose any unrecoverable data as the games are in my ps4 library but installing them is a pain in the butt.
I was wondering if it is possible to recover its data or recover the hd.
Can anybody help me? This stuff triggers my migraines

I see that this service manually recovers your data. Is there a way to digitally recover it?

To recover the data in a computer would require that the platters are spinning correctly, the heads are reciprocating as they should be, all of the electronics are working correctly and everything is still within factory tolerances. If any one of those are not working correctly, in order to retrieve any data will require manual recovery techniques.

Remember the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated killing all seven crew members back in 2003? Ontrack recovered 99% of the data from what was left of the charred hard drives. https://www.ontrack.com/blog/2017/06/21/kroll-ontrack-space-shuttle-columbia/
