Hard drive not getting detected once i plug my ssd in

Hey guys, I recently brought a WD Blue SATA SSD 250gb and when i plug it in my mother board in the M.2 slot under the CPU and then turn on my PC, in the BIOS settings, the main 1TB hard drive isnt in the list. So cant boot my computer bc new SSD doesnt have windows

If you have both the 1 TB and 250 GB SATA drives connected, do you have the appropriate SATA ports for them enabled in the BIOS?
