I received a notification on my screen offering to let me sync my drop box for business with my laptop. I have unlimited space on my drop box for business account so there is a lot in there. Since then, I have received notifications on my screen telling me my hard drive space is low. I've deleted a lot of stuff but still it's low and I couldn't even open a document yesterday. I'm now wondering if it's because of the drop box - is my drop box taking up space on my computer?
If the answer to the above is yes, do you know how to unsync it?

Thank you for taking the trouble to read this cry for help and I'll be very grateful if you can help me!

It's quite possible that synching with dropbox is filling the laptop up. Especially if - as you say - there's a lot in there.

HERE is a link to the help center explaining how to desynch. But be advised that the already downloaded folder(s) won't be deleted from the device.

You're very welcome. I hope it helped a bit. As said in previous post. THe already downloaded stuff won't be removed. So you'll have to manually remove it yourself. Just remember to make sure that what you delete really still is in the cloud. Unfortunately I speak from hard learned experience.
