One of my hard drives is stuck on a constant loop of running chkdsk at boot. Normally i'd think that the drive is on it's way out but everytime it does it it comes back saying no problems found. I've also done full seagate diag which returned nothing. it's a new drive also. This all started after running diskeeper and i can't help thinking that that's caused this somehow but i really don't think there is anything wrong with the drive certainly on the evidence so fa so ca anyone tell me how i can stop disk check running at boot for this drive? I took everything off the drive also and tried to format it in windows but it won't format as it says dskchk is sheduled to run and i must wait till that completes. Only of course it doesn't complete permanantly. thanks for any help. Max.

Personally, I would download the Seagate Disc Wizard starter edition and try doing a full (not quick) zero fill on the problematic drive.

After the zero fill completes, format the drive with the Seagate Disc Wizard software and see if the problem is still present.
