Hard failure during os installation

    I have a Intel DG33fb mother board with a 3Ghz C2D processor 4 gigs ram 1 Tb hdd dvd burner model number gsa h55l tried installing server 2003 and xp sp2 and got a unknown hard failure error after installation got to the middle of the driver installation process
