Hi. I hope this is the correct forum for this.

I'm running Win2K, all updated. I just set disk defragmenter to defrag my 2nd 200GB drive. Suddenly it hung, and after a reboot, selecting the 2nd drive gives me a "This drive is not formatted, format now?" message! Argh! Is there anyway of attempting to get access to the drive and copying some of the data to my 1st drive / CDs before I have to reformat the thing?

    Any help very much appreciated...

Oh, and in Disk Defragmenter now, the drive's file system is now listed as FAT as opposed to NTFS, and the volume name has changed from Second to Local Drive.
