    Hi!

It's possible to make a hardware independent image from
    Windows 2003 Server?
When Yes give me some information how to make it?
When Not tell me to what extent is it possible to
create a hardware independent image of a Windows 2003 server?

should I use 3rd party software for this...e.g. from PowerQuest?

    regards,

I kind of looked into this two years ago for Windows 2000. I think you can do it with Microsoft Sysprep Utility with Setup manager. I think the only basic requirement is that you have to have the same HAL. I dont know if it works with 2003 though.

I just started reading up on Sysprep again and noticed that since the release of XP, you can now force a HAL during a reinstall of a system.

It's maybe possible with "Microsoft Automated Deployment Services" ???
or other "new" tools from Microsoft?
