Exact bios wording can differ between manufacturers so why don't you take the time to provide the specific wording for each option you have questions about. That way, we know we are answering your specific questions and not just writing a "book" that may only lead to more questions.
Sorry, you did not spell it out. You mentioned the word "different" which implies a variance between all options and you denoted a specific interest in "off" but there could be more than one "off" option (in the hard drive area) depending on you bios capabilities (ie, 4 SATA connections + IDE may equal 5 offs).
