This tablet has only two USB ports, only one of which is "A" type. The tablet also has Bluetooth built in. So if I could find a mouse that would work with the tablet's inbuilt Bluetooth, that would free up my USB A terminal.

Is that possible? Is there a way to make that work? Are there mice that can do that?

Google Bluetooth mouse and you'll see that they exist.

I am under the impression that all wireless mice today involve Bluetooth, a Bluetooth mouse as a sending unit and a Bluetooth receiver that plugs into the USB port.

    Is that incorrect?

I have done that and I get results the overwhelming majority of which are not of the type I'm looking for, maybe ten per thousand hits.

How would you differentiate in your search between that Bluetooth and the Bluetooth built into the computer?

Yes that's incorrect, the majority of wireless mice are not Bluetooth but RF and that's why most of them come with them own receiver/adapter.

But any Bluetooth mice will pair with any Bluetooth receiver including the one built into computers.
