Ive had my computer for little over a month and ive had random crash's for quite some time. They happen quite frequently and i can't figure out if its a hardware problem or a software problem . Some of the errors ive recieved from event viewer

    :
The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
    {BC866CF2-5486-41F7-B46B-9AA49CF3EBB1}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE SID (S-1-5-19). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

    :
The IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

    :
Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the NVSvc service.

    Hello,

    Two things to try:

    1. Go to Control Panel => Administrative Tools => Component Services
    Maximize the window
Then: Component Services => Computers => My Computer => DCOM Configuration.
    Click 'Yes' to an requests.

    2. Back in the Component Services Console, Click on Services.
    Scroll down to 'IMAPI CD-Burning'.
    Check that it isn't Disabled'.
Set it to Manual or Automatic.

yeah i checked that and it was already set to manual , i put it as automatic , but ive been looking around at the same error codes , some people say its driver related or a problem with Nividia firewall crashing it . There is alot of problems and i seem to be getting these 4 errors alot now ... trying to narrow down the problem would help

Did you fix the DCOM error?

If you're getting the info for these errors from the Event Viewer, what is the full message, including the EventID. There's a small notepad-type icon tto click that copies the error report to Notepad. You can then post it here.
