Having weird texture/screen tearing after buying new ASUS ROG Swift monitor

Hi there! I recently bought the new ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q monitor with gsync. I started to notice fast slim texture or screen tearing (not like your usual screen tearing I just don't know the name to define the problem) I notice this problem only happens when I got above 60 fps, so setting my monitor to 120hz or 144hz. I also noticed that if the graphic settings are set to low no tearing will happen. I previously had 60hz monitor just never with this certain problem. I had your usual screen tearing due to 60 hz. I don't know if its my new monitor or my GPU having issues going above 60 fps. It also doesn't happen in all games, most pronounced in Wildstar, Subnautica and Rift (not so much in Rift)

I also have a weird not to loud clicking sound coming out of my PC. I suspect it could be my hardrive, and my PC is 13 months old. I greatly appreciate your time and effort in helping me solve this issue.

I did have a power outage a couple months ago. My friend tested my computer with furmark and found no issues. I bought Elder scrolls online and a tear once every 5 mins or so and its capped at 100fps. I started to notice longer I play the worse it gets

I rolled back the drivers last night to version 347.52, and to my surprise it worked perfectly. I played for a good three hours and no artifacting! Unfortunately when I turned on the computer this morning and start to game it started happening again. I found out the issue is called artifacting. Anyone have any tips on what to do, maybe roll back the driver even more?
