I have a Sony Vaio laptop...well the hole on my laptop where you plug your headphones in broke. My dog came in acting like a little psycho and ripped the headphones (which are fine) out of my laptop. I mean literally all the plastic broke its a gaping wound in the side of my precious laptop where the headphones are supposed to go. I have no idea what to do or even how to start going about fixing it. I need halp.

the problem with it being a laptop is going to make for a more difficult repair. It is going to require at a minimum of replacing the Socket Assembly which is likely attached to the mother board. For this reason I would suggest taking it to a reputable Computer Repair shop (not a department in a big box store somewhere) to have the head phone Socket replaced. Unless you are fairly well trained with Circuit Board type Soldering.

May be able to buy some USB headphones and use them until you can get a shop to repair.
