Hi, im going on holiday tomorrow night and i desperately need to get this fixed before then.
On my computer i went to upgrade from ie6 to ie7beta 2 and it didnt install properly, it just came up with a box saying

procedure entry point get security info by url could not be located in the dynamic link library wininet.dll

I cannot get into anything and the same error comes up when i try to open up things like help and support etc.

    WHAT TO DO!!

I opened up help and support so i could do a system restore but it doesnt work :(

    Please help asap everyone!!

    Thanks
    Josh

Do you have a legal copy of Windows?

And it has been activated properly?

If so, I can't understand why the download of IE7 beta2 would break the restore feature.

I've downloaded the same beta, installed it, uninstalled it, used system restore, etc. and everything is fine.

I just reinstalled it yesterday as I figured out that my issue with IE wasn't version 7.
