    Hello,
I am new to this website and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me with buying a new laptop. I have bought a laptop which was refurbished it was 12gb ram and 480GB SSD. I have not seen any other laptops with these specs and was wondering if I should be worried?

The original parts were discarded and replaced. They probably replaced and upgraded the RAM and put in a new SSD.

Hi they showed me the original laptop which is the newest model of its kind. It was a 4gb ram so I am assuming they have put in 3 4gb ram. Does that it will truly be a 12gb ram laptop. Sorry if this does not make sense I do not know too much computing

    hello,
I have just bought this laptop: https://www.laptopstation.co.uk/product/ideapad-330-ssd/ it as a refurbished version of this one: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/compu...5vN1xb4Dt6HpLx9voTBoC08YQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds (sorry for the big links). I am now unsure if I should have gotten this laptop instead -> https://www.johnlewis.com/dell-g3-1...rce-gtx-1050-17-3-full-hd-inch-black/p3893295 (new)

I do not play any games really, it mainly for University work and watching movies. Can you please give me any advice (assume they are the same price)
