My PC motherboard died about a week ago and since you guys helped me figure it out, I thought that you might also be able help me choose a new motherboard. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

What are you looking to do? Gaming, video/CAD editing, basic office programs?

Mostly gaming. I don't need to have the highest settings but I do want a good, consistent frame rate.

Hmm. Well I don't know if my old one works since the motherboard died. Let's just say I wanna get a new better one.

I don't have the motherboard with me right now so I can't check what CPU it is. As for the budget, let's say $170 for the CPU and everything. The budget is flexible but let's just go with that.

However If I dont know what you used to have then I cant find you one that is "better" than the one you had. Also Did you have Intel or AMD?

I believe it was Intel. As long as it's something good within my budget I'll be happy.

Oof. Yeah. That's a bit over budget. Would you be able to find something a little closer to my budget? I might be able to buy those but I'd like to have a second option.
