Help cannot download a video link file.

    Hi all

    I need your help. I have a video movie I am to put together with video's to show my church.

    K my friend who was on the trip with us put together a little clip movie and I cannot seem to get it to download. His link is with Q time. So I am trying to download and the apple Q Time shows up and just keeps spinning. Now is it downloading it or what is happening with that?

    I need it by tomorrow night which is Saturday. How do I just get to download normally?? [​IMG]

    What format is the video in? .avi? .wmv? MPEG?

    It is 2.mov ( video/quicktime)

    Are you trying to play the movie or save it to your hard drive? Is it available for download or is it a streaming video?

    You do have QuickTime on your computer, right?

    I am trying to download it and then burn it to a DVD.Yes I do have Q time.

    Doesn't look like you're downloading it. Looks more like a streaming video.

    You need to see a Run or Save dialog box.

    It does not show one for some reason. How do I get it to show it?

    Maybe it cannot be downloaded that way?

    Where is the movie? On a website? In an email?

    In quicktime player ver 7.7, that I have, there is no save function, you have to have the pro version to save a mov video.

    You'll have to ask him to send it to you by email or something.

    do you have realplayer installed?

    If you do, you might be able to download it to real player through the program's download manager.

    if not, best to do what phantom stated.
