I've lost the Control Panel Icon iin Start Menu / Settings

I have another Icon in my Start Menu Programs, but when I access things like "Display", I get this message

The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on your computer.
    Please contact your system administrator

    Anybody have any ideas?

    I have no CD

I checked the page you sent me to, but all it told me was that Tweak UI was to blame.

    But that doesn't help me.

try this...go to start- right click it and bring up start menu properties then click 'customize' at bottom/ click 'advanced tab'... scroll to 'Control Panel' in list, then click radio button "Display As Link"

Thanks. Bobol, I found another, more complicated, way.

I used MajorGeeks to find Tweak Manager

    demo here:

    http://www.winguides.com/tweak/?ref=mg_tm

For every tweak, there are Registry instructions on their web site.

    I simply followed their instructions.

The Key is to disable NoControlPanel

    Thanks, everybody
