Help! Computer not recognizing built in webcam

    Hello any and everyone?! I have a dell inspiron 1545 and i have use my built in webcam plenty of times and i went to use it today and now it doesnt work. It says that I need to reconnect it. And well I cant figure out what ive done or how to fix it. Can someone please help me!?

    What version of Windows are you using? Is it showing in Device Manager?

    hey I am running windows 7 and it does not show on device manager

    Did the laptop come with a drivers disc?

    If not, you can redownload the webcam drivers from Dell's website.
