HELP! Dell Optiplex gx200 wont boot up

    What does that message say that comes up after Dell logo?

    Check your hard drive cable.
    If not, I think your hard drive is shot.
    Did you back things up?

    doesnt say no message it just stays like that and keyboard and everything freezes...

    Go into your BIOS and it is under security options.
    There should be an option " check for case open"
    Do not change anything in that unless you are sure you know what it is. If you do not know, post here.

    I am assuming you got into the BIOS.
    Was there nothing along those lines in the security section?

    THeres only system security... and it doesnt say anything about "check for case open"

    are u sure that its the battery that is causin the pc not to boot up? ive tried using safe mode but i get some kind of error
