I need help. I recently bought a new droid 3 and most of my contacts are missing. I am getting close to what happened (not how). When I go into my gmail contacts online they seem to all belong to my brother. On my new phone, I have those contacts plus what seems to be transferring from Facebook, but I only have phone numbers for people who have them on FB. I still have all my real contacts on my old phone (the original Droid from Verizon, if that helps). Is there any way I can get my old contacts from my original phone back onto the new one without having to re-enter them all? BTW, Yes I did check that I was logged into MY account on google and not my brothers.

Yes you can, if you go into your contacts on your old phone, you can press the menu button and then select "Import/ Export" and you can export a copy of your contacts to the SD Card in the phone. Do the same process again to Import them into your new phone.

I always use gmail to keep my contacts across phones, but exporting them is a good back up solution.
