help finding

hi group can someone help me find a driver for HP photosmart 318..C8900A. for Windows XP Pro ( dell celeron ) I no longer have the disk and my system was recently redone. HP site not longer has the driver as it has been discontinued. The one listed at driverguide doesnt work. When I run it from the comp it doesnt download the pics to the computer. the message I keep getting is it is safe to remove the device..Thanks

 

I looked on the HP site and sure enough it says you cannot any download drivers for 98 and ME. I agree it sucks you can't even download old drivers, but that is HP. Maybe contact them directly and tell them you need drivers?

 

Use a card reader and avoid the driver issue completely.
