    In IE7, this site: www.ecolibrio.com displays as it should but not in Firefox. The margins are all out of whack and on the Accessories page, the text is all squished together. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Looks fine in my FF. What version of FF are you using? What's your screen resolution on your system? That's a standard CSS designed webpage using MS FrontPage... nothing special or magical about it.

    It looks fine to me in Firefox. Though it might look better if you centered it.

    You are correct about the Accessories page. The text there is out of whack. I'm in Linux right now w/ FF, so I can't easily view the site with IE. However, be it known that creating websites with FrontPage sometimes (I'm shocked ;) ) favors viewing with Internet Explorer.

    I use an Open Source application called NVU to create and maintain webpages these days.

    Luck!

    Ah yes... that page looks soooo much better in IE. This is probably due to its creation using FrontPage. As stated above, FP is biased toward IE. I've had the same problems with some webpages that I've created using FP. The only two solutions I can think of for this is to either hand code the HTML on the page yourself or find a non-MS application (like the NVU mentioned above) that will code to proper standards automatically.

    Best of luck to you!

    oh ok, you might be right. I started out in FP then now I'm editing in Dreamweaver. Cuz it appears as it should in FP but it's all messed up in Dreamweaver. One thing though is how come it's centered in IE7 but not in Firefox. the <center> tag is there though. I just downloaded the newest version of FF.

    I am not sure but why do you have:

    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    body {
    background-color: #ECE3F4; float:left
    }
    -->
    </style>

    wouldn't that make everything go left?

    ====

    also I would recommend that you get rid of the tables. :)

    So first you tell him to use <div align="center"> because <center> is deprecated.
    Then I tell you <div align="center"> is also deprecated.
    Then you say at least it works in FF .
    Then I show you <center> also works in FF.
    Now you say "of course it does" whilst failing to realize that your original post of saying <center> is deprecated and to use <div align="center"> instead, was pointless since they're both deprecated ;)

    And a link to what?
