My work still runs off the Windows 2000 operating system, and as pety and simple as it sounds, i would really like to look at something other than a blue-gray background with a pattern on it. You know, to brighten up my hole. Sorry, work space. Anyway, my issue is when I right click on the desktop and select properties the background tab is locked almost completely. The only thing I'm allowed to do is change the pattern, and it's permanently stuck on "None" as the background. Maybe there's an easy way around this, but I know that on my laptop, which runs on XP, had the same issue I got Norton Anti-Virus and everything was dandy after that. I had a wallpaper, was able to change it, yada-yada, etc, etc. I'm not saying it's the same issue because, again, there could be an easy way around it. I will say that I'm assuming it's the same thing because this computer had been operating with an out-of-date computer virus protection.

Please help a girl brighten her work space and be in harmony. At least until the crazies come out.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)
