More than likely you'll have to run a on-line virus sniffer but first, disable System Restore and restart your computer before the on-line scan. Remember to re-enable System Restore right after the scan. See the colored link at the bottom of my post to a Panda on-line scan.

Since you're running WinXP, and if you're computer is not behind a firewalled network Router,

You can use this following explanation to make sure ICF is enabled and if it's not to enable it. If it's not enabled the box will Not be checked, if it is it will be.

To configure Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) manually for a connection:

    1. Click the Start button

    2. Control Panel

    3. Double-click Networking and Internet Connections

    4. Then click Network Connections

    5. Right-click the connection icon for which you would like to enable ICF

    6. Then click Properties.

    7. On the Advanced tab, (click the box) to select the option to Protect my computer or network.

    8. Click Ok

    9. Click Ok.

Its possibly finding it in the restore folder....disabling....re-booting and then re-enabling system Restore will purge the folder.

This entry need to be fixed with HojackThis:
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [P2P Networking] C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe /AUTOSTART

    And the:C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking
    folder deleted after re-booting.

    ;)
