Yesterday my antivirus alerted me telling me that it had found viruses and that it had quarantined them. I scanned with 2 other antivirus and they both found viruses and were unable to remove them. They've also made my computer a lot slower.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Here is my HiJackThis log.

The P2P programs you have installed expose you to risks because of the nature of the P2P file sharing process. File sharing/P2P programs rely on members giving and gaining unrestricted access to computers across the P2P network. This practice can make you vulnerable to data and identity theft. It also exposes you to very malicious worms and trojans. You change those risky default settings to a safer configuration but the act of downloading files from an anonymous source greatly increases your exposure to infection.

Go to add/remove programs and remove all P2P programs from your machine!

Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.

  • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix and remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
  • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
  • Remember to re-enable the protection again afterwards before connecting to the Internet.

Double click SDFix.exe and choose Install to extract it to its own folder on the Desktop. Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
  • Choose your usual account.
  • Open the c:\SDFix folder and double click RunThis.cmd to start the script.
  • Type Y to begin the script.
  • It will remove the Trojan Services then make some repairs to the registry and prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
  • Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
  • Your system will take longer that normal to restart as the fixtool will be running and removing files.
  • When the desktop loads the Fixtool will complete the removal and display Finished, then press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
  • Finally open the SDFix folder on your desktop and copy and paste the contents of the results file Report.txt back to the thread with a new HijackThis log.

Thank you very much for replying to my thread!

I am unsure of what p2p programs are so I didn't know what to remove. Sorry about that.

I installed SDfix to my desktop but when I tried to boot into safe mode it said that it had detected an error and shut of to prevent a serious error from ocuring.

It said my video driver failed to work or something.

I'm unsure of what to do in this situation.

Visit this webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix.

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished that, along with a new HijackThis log.

Also Run HijackThis and click on "Config" and then on the "Misc Tools" button.
If you're viewing HijackThis from the Main Menu then click on "Open the Misc Tools Section".
Click on the "Open Uninstall Manager" button.
Click the "Save List" button.
Copy and paste that list here.

I had gone to Msconfig and set it to boot automatically in safe mode and now I can't get into Windows to change it back to boot up normal because of that blue screen error. What can I do?

Well that is a video driver warning but it also can mean the video card is "toast". Is this onboard video or a separate video card?

My friend who knows what he's talking about says that he thinks it's onboard. I'm sorry, I don't really know how to tell.

Actually all 3 pc's in your stats show use of separate video card and at this point I would believe it is bad on this pc and needs replacement.
