    scrambro , hi :)

    First do this :

Some viruses terminates the function of your onboard antivirus, maybe you want to make an online scan to be sure you are safe. It´s very simple and free :

    Symantec/Norton
    http://security.symantec.com/defaul...FCSGFZVDTPSOERZ

    Panda ActiveScan http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

    Trend Micro HouseCall http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

If you run either of those programs,it´ll be able to disable and quarantine the virus.

Then go to here http://forums.techguy.org/t164245/s.html and configure your AdAware6 181 according to the instructions there.
When you have done this, download HiJack This . It comes as a zipped file, doubleclick and hit "scan". A logfile will be produced , save it somewhere and copy it here.

I sence you saying OMG!!! so much. Let´s take it one step at a time. Start with an online virus scan from any of the links above and then return here and tell the result, and we´ll go on from there.

I seem to have the winmain.exe Trojan that you have found yet all those scans have failed to detect it. So rather than starting anything new maybe one of you guys could just add a side note about fixing that specific one. Thx

    scrambro , :)

Download the free program TDS AntiTrojan and get rid of those items you have there.

Then download and run AdAware6 according to the instructions in my first post.

    soc1031 :)

Please download TDS AntiTrojan, too . Then run HiJack This (Link in my post above).

    Then......

Start a thread of your own. We need to attend to scrambro and his troubles here .(y)
