Well, I doubt the processor speed will be an issue, but I suspect you need to upgrade the memory. What O/S are you running?

I don't know but some Highspeed software does check and refuses to install if any single thing does not meet the requirements, ie. Sympatico HS

From you list you CPU, and RAM are below the requirements, if you don't have Windows 98 then it will not likely work either.

Are you using an Ethernet or USB connection for the Highspeed modem? Ethernet is the only way to go for an older machine, actually its the best for any computer.

As for meeting the requirements, you'll need to buy more RAM. If its 72 pin EDO/FastPage RAM it might be hard to find, if its PC66/100 most places still sell that but you'll have to find out what type you machine needs. Same goes for the CPU if it happens that its an issue. Verison Support could confirm that.

Honestly a computer like that isn't worth the money to upgrade it, you may want to look into getting a used PC or a cheap DELL. The difference would be extremely substantial going to even the most basic DELL system.
