Hello, im new around these parts.

Basically I reflowed my xbox with a heatgun. I was reflowing the ana chip and next to it was what I belive to be a resistor. This popped off and hit me in the face. So I soldered it back on with a fine iron. I completed the reflow and put the xbox back together. Now it will not switch on whatsoever. Anyone had this experience? any input will be appricated. Thanks

Welcome to TSG!

Never heard of reflowing, had to google it. :D
Sounds very risky, I would have complained to MS and have it fixed.

Anyway, you may have put the resistor in wrong, or your solder may have crossed to another contact shorting it out. Those points in there are very close and you can easily cross one and hardly be able to see it.

You might try a local electronic repair place and see if they can verify the resistor placement, otherwise it sounds like it's dead. :(
