My main desktop, located in the garage, is running Windows 7 Ultimate RC. I just recently found out that WMP12 can stream any of my videos over the network. Cool feature! Well, I have an HTPC in the living room running XP MCE 2005 and would like to play video streams off my Windows 7 desktop.

I fired up WMP11 but could not find the WMP12 Library. I thought that maybe XP needed to be upgraded to WMP12, but the latest/greatest version is already loaded: WMP11.

Any thoughts, suggestions, workarounds, comments are greatly welcomed/appreciated. ;)
