Help, I'm having virus trouble

    I know I have a virus. My AVG Resident Shield pops up and lets me know that a trojan virus has been found and that to delete it I should run AVG anti-virus system. But this is after I already ran it, and when I run it the second time, it doesn't find anything. I have Ad-aware SE and it finds various data miners as well. But I'm not sure if this is has anyhtign to do with the trojan.


    Symptoms: missing files, processor lagging, random pop ups, and moved files.


    My friend told me to get a Hijackthis report and I have. I got a notice that peergaurdian downlaoded from teh site I downloaded it from had been corrupted, so i uninstalled it and downloaded the new version. Here is the Hijackthis report:

    you might have the version full with spywares .

    i saw that. and i uninstalled it when i did. and went to methlabs.org and downloaded the newer version. do you think i should get rid of it all together? and is that where the virus came from?

    you can remove this one also

    and about peerguardian ,to remove it or no ,it s up to you ,personally me ,i dont trust that kind of program ,a good firewall is enough for me to know what s going out and whats coming in ,good luck
