I am having a problem with some E-Commerce sites (Ofoto and Banana Republic.com in particular.) Whenever I try to make a purchase on these sites I get stuck in a loop. Whenever I complete the order form and enter in the billing information to check out I get taken back to the first screen (generally the "cart".) I know that this is not a problem with forgetting to enter some piece of information (I am not getting a message stating this and all fields have been correctly filled out.)

I've tried deleting all cookies and temporary files, but this has not solved the problem.

I'm using and Pentium 3 PC, Windows 98, Netscape 6.

First thing I'd try is a different browser. Do you have the same problems with IE?

    First Name:
lots of ecommerce site will not work with netscape especially version 6 which has so many bugs as to make it unuseable.

Most ecommerce sites only work with IE browsers v. 5 and higher. the security implications of using unsafe earlier browsers are frightening. NN6 doesn't have 128 bit encryption to the same standard as the IE browser and many sites haven't got the ability to check both versions
