Go down the list, then right click one of the duplicates and select delete.

Thanks Dave. I am looking to delete these in a more expedient way, either through tools in Outlook itself or in a free or shareware software that can delete them. I am estimating I have almost two thousand duplicates. I believe this happened when I was unknowingly synced my gmail to my regular email account. This kept sending all my contacts over too, until I unchecked the box in the sync program.

So now I'm left with 2,000 duplicate contacts. I've seen some "30 day trial" software but they only let you delete up to ten contacts at a time, before you have to purchase the software. Surely, someone on this site must have had the same problem of mass duplicate contacts, with their being able to delete these all at once with a freeware or shareware program, or through Outlook itself.

    Thanks though for your response.

The problem with most "tools", they forget that multi people may use the same email address.
