I first logged in a Thread under Networking but got views but no suggestions/advice. So maybe I will get somewhere here.

I am having a problem with booting into my ISP. I have windows XP. and i use dialup. Everytime I boot up the puter it works fine...but when I log into the ISP is when I have connection problems. I know the ISP is working cause I still can get into msn messenger. On logging in to the ISP, I would first get a few "script error" messages, but then I started getting a box popping up saying " Stack Overflow @ line:0"; I would just close that out...my ISP home page wouldn't load completely, but it was there. However, when I try to open up a new browser window (Windows Internet Explorer) I would get the message "IE cannot display this page." I could not get on to any site that I needed using IE. I was able to get into Internet options/connections and change the settings on Dial up to "auto detect" but i had to make sure the proxy settings were not checked and i had to make sure the LAN settings were not checked before I could open up the IE browser. Now when I log in, as the ISP is loading in, I see a window saying "changing internet connections" and I have to go thru the above resets each time which is telling me something is resetting this everytime I turn on the puter.

I tried to to a system restore to a point prior to the problems, to no luck. I have even gone thru and updated Windows, IE, Adaware/Spybot S&D; CCleaner; Avast Virus Scanner and ran them to which nothing abnormal was detected. I am at lost at how to correct this. Maybe if my HJT log was reviewed it could shed some light..or if anything else is needed, please let me know.
